Throwback Thursday - What advice would you give your younger self?

Instead of going back to seeing what we looked like in the past, let's instead think about things that we've learned along the way that are important enough that we'd like to tell our younger selves about it.

I've created a LOT of changes in my life over the last year and recently I've had quite a few things going on (like most of you, I'm sure) - work, school, relationships, starting/growing a business...to name a few. Despite all the of stresses that each (or at times all) of these areas may present, I've focused on the following quote/thought to provide a guiding calmness that helps get me through the challenging times:

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

The important part is to make a decision that aligns with your true values and then allow the Universe to help make it happen. That's not to say that you are an idle participant and you get to sit in the boat lazily drifting in the current. Instead, work towards your goals but be open to alternative solutions and opportunities that are placed in your path. You never know when things that seem unrelated to your goals like school projects or conversation with friends...and how they might lead to new business ideas/opportunities.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF??

BONUS ADVICE - I would also go back and give my younger self these two books, which lately have had a great impact on my ability to "weather the storms" of life while maintaining a calm watchful eye on the next opportunity that presents itself and take me closer to my goals.
